I do a sound alarm 15 minutes before I normally get up then a silent vibrating watch alarm 15 minutes after. I am hard of hearing so the follow up silent alarm is a real godsend. Normally if I got to bed at a good hour I wake up before either of them go off and turn them off then start getting ready.
