In the Tesla Cybertruck’s defense, it’s awful in plenty of other ways, too!

You assume they’re being honest about the number of times it will work. This is just enough CYA to let them escape liability even if it breaks on the first pull because you can’t prove how many times you have actually used it. And there are way too many examples of Tesla trying to weasel out of totally straightforward

Oh, great, the release cable can only be expected to work once. As if you have a problem with the cable/plug, it will only happen once.

I’d go with a KIA lease. Battery tech is changing fast, same with chargers and access to them. The KIA/Hyundai cars are less daunting coming from a “normal” car; still plenty of tech but the controls are similar enough that you don’t have to study a plethora of screens or read a 300 page owners manual. You literally can’t. The water running under you as you cross is different every time. That’s what makes the metaphor work.

Oh hi! Congratulations on the new you.

I guess metaphors just don’t work on some people.

Congrats on embracing the person you are and finding the courage to share that with us.

Rock on Amber, thanks for being you

Good for you Amber!  Nice to meet you!

Well I guess when your share price is down 70% over the last year and 53% year-to-date every $277 really counts.

Oh shit, you’re right. I totally read a -s where there isn’t one. I just needed more mid-afternoon coffee, I suppose.

I wouldn’t say he’s unlikable but I definitely like his writing better than his stand up.
