It’s worth $800 if you see it as your own Gambler 500 ride. If you tinker around and decide it isn’t worth further investment, then you can U-Haul dolly it to a scrapyard and find another jalopy to put those wheels and LEDs on. Nice price.

For me, it’s the fact that a chunk of Uranium smaller than the size of a couch can power an aircraft carrier for 30 years.

I don’t get the boner for nuke plants.

It’s partly because, had we not hamstrung ourselves and continued to innovate and build reactors, we would ALREADY BE GREEN.

Hydrogen could be fine exactly like electric.

Great point, bird murderer.

Just a note about H2. Note that in that photo ALL of the combustion is UP and away from the people on the ground. H2 is so light that it rises up and away from the ground unlike almost any other fuel that would be dowsing anyone on the ground and then burning them. Because H2 was used for the dirigibles, it made it

As a Tesla owner and user of the FSD package and autopilot, I am always shocked when I see people using it recklessly. I saw a video the other day of someone in the back seat of a Model 3! That is suicidal. My car has totally not seen large concrete walls and road debris (eg freakin’ chairs in the road). Not to

Not sure how that’s a “Boomer” joke, as it’s been kicking around since WWII. More of a “Greatest Generation” casual racism joke.

Not just a shot of his face. They were handed video, plus his name and address. They literally had their job done for them, except for the last bit which they refuse to do.

My car has weight sensors just so it can yell at you for not using a seatbelt. What the hell?

If this was any other car, the driver wouldn’t be able to do this.  Tesla is unique in their refusal to use seat weight sensors or cameras to ensure there’s actually a person in the driver’s seat.

Can we just say you’re our dad? I imagine dealers are used to perspective buyers bringing their dads into the negotiations.

Why the hell does NHTSA allow a level 2-autonomy car to be operated like this?

Excuse me Elizabeth, but this is clearly another short-seller hitpiece on noted philanthropist and Tony Stark-irl equivalent, Elon Musk. I have been assured by numerous people online that he is an amazing and perfect person, and by extension so are his companies.

Should have said it was a black man smoking a joint.

The police always seem to be there when you don’t want them, and nowhere to be found when you do. Seriously, when you hand them video evidence showing reckless driving in action, including a clear shot of the “driver’s” face and the license plate of the car, they just shrug and say there’s nothing they can do? What

Pretty sure it’s the car’s fault. Many people are saying so! /s

Wow, I haven’t heard that Boomer joke since the ‘80s.

It’s usually best to do the test drives then have me intervene. Though if you are happy with how a salesperson handled that test drive, be sure to keep their info so Ican give them an opportunity directly.
