I think that they have done a relatively fair job here, since they account only for the emissions created in making the battery, rather than the whole car. In theory (though almost assuredly not in practice), the construction of each car’s frame and other components would produce comparable emissions.

I am 100% focused on your Improbability Drive and Hitchhiker’s Thumb buttons. The others are fun, too. Got distracted from the article and wanted to say that those are really fun.

I’m only 6'1" and I always pay for economy+ (when available) or better. Even if it’s work and they won’t pay for it, it’s worth kicking in a little bit of my own cash for it.

Don’t forget tunnels. Despite somehow making them demonstrably less useful than the existing subway and automotive tunnels already in use, the Boring Company is some sort of technological feat.

If Michelin can review restaurants, Gordon Ramsay can do public car stuff.

I just saw a 2020 Tundra listed for slightly more than MSRP on a new one. The seller even had the original window sticker, which showed they were asking 8000 over what it cost new. 2 years and 25,000 miles later.

Trying to get me in trouble at work, I see. I did go to the Porsche configurator. I could get sucked into that for hours. I want that sort of thing for cars I can justify buying.

He also is not switching parties, at least in any meaningful way—he was already donating significantly to the GOP. Even if he did not vote for them, he gave them a lot more support than an individual vote.

Aww, reality sets in. If Jalopnik will at least subsidize, it could be a great feature.

It really looks like an elaborate sales display to me. You don’t want to just display them on trailers, but you sure aren’t going to maintain a huge pool, so you build this.

I hope you pick it up before I make a really bad decision.

And these aren't even fake exhaust tips, just the suggestion of exhaust shapes. I think they look alright.

The lower bumper has two faux exhaust-pipe shapes. It’s dumb, but everyone is doing it now.

Kia seems to be looking at contemporary designs and asking themselves how many manufacturers they can work into mashups. A little Toyota here, some Mitsubishi there, sprinkle a little Subaru occasionally.

I’m looking at moving up from the Niro, and this is a really fair assessment of the whole segment. The Sportage PHEV is going to do everything I need it to, and this segment is not where you go for fun and exciting.

but the power delivery was so mellow, it somehow felt slower than the X-Pro with the base engine.

I won’t bid on that if you don’t bid on the 15th Anniversary Supra (which is almost certainly going out of my price range, but a man can dream).
