With how tight the tolerances need to be, I suspect F1 cars are particularly susceptible to failures due to seemingly minor parts.

And thanks to my dad and his many years on the road as a trucker, I’ve always wanted to drive bigger and bigger vehicles.
I think the range is going to be the biggest obstacle for this and the Solterra. There are enough EVs with 300+ mile ranges to give people second thoughts. I’m glad to see more options, but I think that it was a misstep not to push into the 300 mile range, if only because numbers are much easier for consumers to…
Such a nice price the ad is already gone. I was very interested, but not quick enough.
This study included that. From the methodology section:
Really enjoy the gambit of claiming the video (which does not seem to have any cut footage and clearly shows the vehicle showing up, stopping, and leaving), is incomplete. It shows just how little respect they have for us.
I am here in Idaho where we already have this, and it is pretty reasonable. It’s not like it just allows bicyclists to do whatever they want (though some will do that regardless). Our bicyclists seem to be better than the ones in Washington, where they are supposed to follow the rules of the road but commonly end up…
As long as they’re giving one to “cancelled” Louis CK, they may as well give one to a Geo Metro struggling to maintain speed on a steep incline.
Time travel. If you can go get us some Gros Michael bananas before they were wiped out, we can have delicious bananas again.
They’re bitching about the $15k they know about to prevent further issues. This not only stops him from continuing, but warns others that they could be caught. Chances are, there are plenty of others doing similar things.
$15k in total claims, but most individual claims were a few hundred dollars. So a $1500 pull of an offroad rig is probably realistic.
That second one is super common in the PNW, with a side of passive-aggressive, depending on the specific area. People do not like it if you follow right-of-way procedures while they want to wave you through.
They’ve actually built a couple of those over her in Idaho. A few people grumbled, but people got used to those faster than they have traffic circles.
Around here, there are companies that tend to have awful drivers and companies that have good ones. You often hear that Swift stands for “Sure Wish I’d Finished Training.”
Washington (state) drivers cannot understand weather that isn’t just overcast. Sunny, rainy, god forbid ice or snow...it’s all a brand new experience every time, and people need to relearn driving in general.
I think every state has left lane campers, people whose life’s mission is to prevent anyone from merging, and people who see others merging and decide they can speed past everyone.
When I saw the news articles on this, my first thought was that he probably made a lot more on it than they found. Sounds like he got a pretty good deal, paying back what they knew was fraudulent and serving probation.
Tom Cochrane made an amazing song. Chris LeDoux covered it really well. Rascal Flatts covered that cover okay.
Not only is the Tom Cochrane original better, but the Chris LeDoux cover is significantly better, too.
Idaho drivers are terrible in parking lots. Going the wrong way, just stopping wherever, and parking the wrong direction in spaces very specifically designated for specific parking. Lots of F150s in compact spaces and cars in motorcycle parking, too.
