Is there less rear tire noise in the EV? Because the construction is very similar, so I have trouble imagining the larger battery dampens sound that much. If it is significantly quieter, that would be a nice upgrade.

I suspect you are right, and I think the switch we are starting to see in encouraging orders, rather than pushing people to buy off the lot, will reduce the deals that you used to see on less desirable cars.

The number of times we’ve considered people saying “I know what I have” or listing 800 irrelevant tags to get more eyes beg to differ. I always consider the whole ad, not just the price and car.

The new one has not dropped yet, so I suspect this will be a review of the outgoing model. I haven’t seen anyone get a hands-on of the new model in the US yet. The new one comes out late spring or early summer, I think.

Road noise is tolerable, but pretty loud, at least in the PHEV. Have only sat in an EV once, so I can’t really give a qualified opinion, but expect it is similar. I’m looking at trading my 2019 PHEV in for something that doesn’t give me so much tire noise. You really know when you are on smoother roads.

The Niro EV is more available at present (we even get them in Idaho, where it is a tough sell to even get hybrid vehicles on lots), since it has been out for a few years now. But I do expect that to change as they shift focus to dedicated EV platforms.

I have the Niro PHEV and I have considered the EV, but it is too expensive to be so uninspiring. At only $1000 under the EV6 with similar range, it’s hard to justify the slower charging and lower cargo volume. And another 6k gets you more range and power.

Usually, the dealer processes the down payment and first month payment. Looks like their first month was what was stolen. The dealer probably noticed when filing the paperwork with the leasing company. And I would very much wonder how many first month payments disappeared in the same manner.

Yeah, I feel lucky that my workplace did not accept a lot of the “religious” exemptions, and that may partially stem from the LDS position and the prevalence of Mormons here. It might have also helped that many requesting the exemption had no problem taking the hepatitis vaccine.
