Usually, the dealer processes the down payment and first month payment. Looks like their first month was what was stolen. The dealer probably noticed when filing the paperwork with the leasing company. And I would very much wonder how many first month payments disappeared in the same manner.

I’d be way more concerned with how broadly they paint the release of liability. Releasing them from all claims or losses, developed or undeveloped, known or unknown seems like a recipe for disaster.

If you look in the greys in this comment thread, there is an example of the sort of person claiming that this vaccine is the problem. The claim that you should only need one round of a vaccine to be set for life (despite most vaccines recommending boosters) is notable in there. Also the willingness to assume other

Yeah, I feel lucky that my workplace did not accept a lot of the “religious” exemptions, and that may partially stem from the LDS position and the prevalence of Mormons here. It might have also helped that many requesting the exemption had no problem taking the hepatitis vaccine.

I’d really be curious to see the breakdown on it if someone got them to participate honestly in a survey. Since a pretty significant portion believe that COVID is a hoax or overblown, I would wonder if at least some other vaccines would be accepted. Enough of them claim there just hasn’t been enough research to think

I’m not sure. My parents have been sucked in while still believing in all the vaccinations I had as a kid. And coworkers who had no problem getting the hepatitis vaccine for work put in for religious exemption when the company required this one. There are certainly a number of people who still aren’t anti-vax overall,

This crossover isn’t currently expected to reach US shores, so the conversion is just to remind people that GBP isn’t the same as USD, I think.

Exactly. If you don’t keep the pots separated, they’ll just move the money around until you feel good. It’s also why they can do those push/pull/drag events where you get $5000 for a car that will never run again--they just move the money into a different part of their four square.

Lead the Russian military. If he’s half as bad at that as he is at F1, Russia won’t be able to successfully invade an Arby’s, much less any sovereign country.

Fuck yeah, Ghost.

That’s pretty fair, but I know I can get more selling my car if I feel like taking on that hassle, so I like to get to my price and then see if the trade is good enough to let them have it.

The dealer knows what price you agreed to on the vehicle so it’s not like you’re going to fool them into giving you a better overall deal this way. If anything, it makes the negotiations less flexible.

Two reasons:

And no, free oil changes, or floor mats is not what I mean.

I’ll probably never complete the car pokedex, but I really enjoy getting the blurb of info on each new car I pick up, and I really like that it promotes really linear progression. I don’t find myself suddenly in a car that is too fast or too slow for a particular race. And that can easily happen on other games.

This isn’t currently planned for US release, so it probably has had no official MPGe calculated.

Finally, you should always get an itemized out-the-door price in writing before closing a deal, and ideally before you even step foot into the showroom

Leased a PHEV when I wasn’t sure my tax burden would allow me to take the full tax credit. The tax credit claimed by the dealer was passed on to me as savings. After leasing for three years and buying out the lease in cash, I would be spending slightly less than the 5 year financing with interest, though it did

Glad the strike got you a better contract and back to work.

Most likely written as broadly as practicable, so as to lay claim to a bunch of options. This allows them to pursue a variety of methods under the same patent and to prevent competitors from taking the same ideas and getting there first.
