I feel like this should not be filed under “Truck Yeah,” but perhaps “Truck Nooooo.”

Here in Idaho, there was a bill to actually create a minimum marriage age of 16 (Idaho did not have a minimum). It failed the first time, with some of the arguments against it being that a younger girl could get an abortion with a judge or parent’s consent, but not married. As if terminating a pregnancy and having a…
The funniest part about the NFT stuff, to me, is that people are even scamming so hard that people aren’t even getting the nonexistent thing. The same group managed three rugpulls in which they collected a bunch of money and no one got the NFTs, much less anything of value. If I were just a little more willing to scam…
Engine was replaced at 87,500 km, suggesting you’re gonna get another 42,000 km out of this one if it lasts as long as the first. 26,100 miles.
the head of one hyperloop company estimated a building cost of about $54 million per mile.
If this passes, I hope everyone there gets their dealerships to check for would-be OTA updates every chance they get. Tie up technicians for as long as possible as often as possible for non-work.
Is it possible we are not seeing the bar and lights just off camera, and the car thought he needed to stop for them, despite that keeping him in the restricted area? It would explain the stop, at least to some extent.
2018-2020 was probably the best time to have bought one.
Pretty much. If you ran out of money, got tired of it, etc, I am gonna figure you ran into roadblocks that I am not interested in dealing with. Somebody dies and I can understand why the project is unfinished.
While a probably fair price, I hate the idea of buying someone else’s unfinished project. At least this one has a reasonable story to explain why it wasn’t finished.
I had to put my arm on his seat back and look over my shoulder whenever reversing.
My mind tried to make things right with the Tercel. I read the price as $2750 and thought it wasn’t bad. I then realized my mistake.
Yeah, Kia and Ford are already both heading that way. Both have added multipurpose knobs that can switch between climate and volume to their higher trims, and I assume others will realize that knobs feel more substantial.
I’d be fine with sacrificing Florida if it means keeping ICE cars for another few decades.
Lower trims give you traditional gauges, physical volume controls, and wireless AA/Carplay. I just wish I could get the lower trim with the ventilated seats, but at least it’s cloth, so it won’t need it as much.
(Update 1/17/2022 I got a phone call from the sales director of the VW store that wanted to make clear that this is not a quote but rather a “menu” as he called it and that with the exception of all the fees below the taxes, the add-on items were “optional.” He insisted that this is their way of being upfront and…
If they really want to incorporate their history, call it the Vapor.
Yeah, I would love to see this broken out by model, which Edmunds suggests they have the data to do, given that they mention specific models having higher or lower markups.
Yeah, I don’t understand why you couldn’t track individual vehicle costs/prices by VIN. I mean, obviously they can but won’t, but still. Seems like it would be the only reasonable and accurate of accounting. Cars aren’t exactly fungible.
LIFO allows you to assume the highest cost items are what is selling, meaning you show lower profits. Once you start showing that you are selling the old stock, it catches up to you because you have been pretending that the cheapest stock has been sitting forever.
