Wait, so when a young black mom does it, it’s “child abandonment” ... but when my young white mom did it ... 5 days a week, it was called being a “latch key kid”?

Why? You almost never need to charge on the road. You charge every night at home. You start every long trip with 300+ miles of range. By the time you have exhausted that, you need to stop and eat anyway.

You think this is delightful, check out Bosom Buddies.

You get rid of all your ICE and loaned BEVs that get more and then report back how you like 48. I imagine with your under glow and terrible wheels youre doing good to get 48 anyway. try it back home in the midwest, in the ice right now Brad. see how much range you get on the way home.

Nearly a quarter of Americans live in what the US Census Bureau defines as a rural county.   Is this the majority? No. Is it some weird fringe group? Also no.

I’m in the Upstate NY, not far from Watkins Glen International. It’s a 30 minute ride to Wegmans, yes, we have a grocery store in my town, but it’s selection is

That would get me to the nice grocery store and about halfway back, left on the side of a dirt road, in freezing temperatures, with no heat.

For our other typical trip, it would allow us to get to my in laws to drop off the kids, then we can spend our date night finding a charging station that works with whatever

Hi, I live in not-urban place. I also travel to other not-urban places. If I have to pull over every 125 miles to fill-up, even it it takes me 5 minutes, it’s going to be a long drive wherever I go. 150 miles one way is something of a quick overnight trip. 300 miles one way is a weekend.

Thats great if you only watch 3 shows a year and have no interest in anything new.

I think Epic would be fine with that. Forcing Epic to use their payment processor, and taking a large chunk of that payments is wrong. Being paid to be hosted/marketed on the app store, sure. But I don’t think a 30% cut of all sales that go through the app warrants the “benefit” you get by being on the app store.

Seems like Epic is more than willing to host it’s own content, it’s just the Apple store’s TOS effectively gatekeeps any app from appearing on Ipads or Iphones altogether.

I mean, they know full well that they broke the TOS; their whole goal is to upend the TOS so that there isn’t anything to take responsibility for.

Is it common for lobbyists to GIVE legislation to politicians? Like rather than politicians write it themselves and their team? That seems sketchy af.

Yeah. You see people win a game with $13k and you see people win with $32k.

“which he attended, at least in part, on a scholarship he received for his performance on his high school Quiz Bowl team.”

maybe he used it to pay crazy hospital bills in his last moments ... and yes, it is a horrible thing to focus on.

We don’t even need him being a dick to Shelley Duvall to prompt that response.

Fuck Dr. Phil

I must have blocked it out.  It is the only bad pizza style.

(They did list St. Louis. And the description is horrible.)

While any amount of alcohol in the blood may impair skills important for driving, the degree of impairment is dependent on the level of blood alcohol.
