I am sure he has done this before. But this is the truly special. I mean as crazy as this sounds its far from the peak. A 40-year old Macallan went for like $9K a bottle. And I say went because they literally sold 70 bottles to the entire US in 2018. This isn’t like a 30 year old that is being bottled each year, but

Agree that there is no way a single move of their wrist is worth $50.

How do you differentiate between a large trash bag blowing across the road vs. a homeless person wearing a large trashbag as an impromptu raincoat who is crossing the road?

Autopilot implies autonomous.

Not really possible and extremely dangerous. If you car is getting 30 MPG (which is not realistic at that speed) you’s still need 100+ gallons of fuel, which would require at least 13+ cu ft. to store. It would also weigh 600+ lbs so you’d be carrying a lot of weight early (further killing your fuel economy). As for

Eh.... The unfortunate aspect of Sayreville is that the part of Hwy 35/Rte 9 which runs through it is a strip-club laden, budget motel run down place. To be fair, how much of that is in South Amboy vs. Sayreville is hard for most to tell since you go Sayreville surrounds South Amboy.

No I think they will stop.... giving from the corporate charity.  They will just give personally to the charity which since this is a privately-held company is more or less the same thing, just 1 extra step.

Why. All they said is the foundation won’t give to them. So here’s the thought exercise...

Dude you are not even remotely a Gen Xer. You are a Millennial by like 6 or 7 years. (Gen X is 1965 to around 1982 give or take). If you were still in school when 2000 hit you were a millenial.

They opened a location in my town in NJ about 3-4 years ago. They are a great treat in moderation. If you still are in Massachusetts (as your handle indicates), you are out of luck though, as the 6 in the Metro NY location are as far north as they go.

Depends on how you spin it. When you pull that go with “Steve (FYI I’ve decided your husband is Steve) has been getting gift cards at work for a good job / for his birthday from his brother too lazy to shop, etc. but they are always more than what we spend on the two of us. Since you’re here, lets pick one and go

Most of the places where I get the call are in the afternoon. I always presume its the manager/lunch host(ess), who is doing paperwork in that dead time between seating those late lunches and getting ready for the evening rush.

Some people, when in line for their personalities got second helpings of self-importance and skipped the self-awareness line.

Exactly. Beyond my work email (work PC and work phone), I have a personal email that is for friends and family. I then have a second one that I give out to companies that I want to get stuff from. These two are on my phone and I check daily, but I only take notice if I get an email from the first.

He did not block the player into the ball. He blocked the player, and then the ball hit him. The block was made before the ball was in the immediate area so unless the KSU player is a freaking magician and knew how to block the player so he fell an exact way so that the ball would take a specific bounce to hit the now

Good point. By the way, I think his “seeing ghosts” was admitting he was feeling pressure that wasn’t there (yet). But yeah, Darnold could have played great and they probably still lose by 20 due to Gase.

Darling does national games (he is TBS’s National Color guy). Cohen is really good too, but I wonder how he’d translate to a non-Mets broadcast. The guy was born in Queens, went to college in Manhattan, and outside of cutting his team in the Minor Leagues, has basically called NY sports only.   How much could he tone

He’s gotten less robotic. I even have heard him say on interviews that he was trying to be robotic (the national play by play is not to be rooting for either team). Now he gets excited about good plays. The issue with comparing him to Gary Thorne is Thorne is allowed to have a rooting interest since no non-Oriole fan

I think he’s good at both (tennis not so much). The problem is he is the play-by-play guy and he needs a strong color guy. That is not what Troy Aikman is capable of bringing to the table.

He would 100%, not want to do the NFL game. But the NFL threw a hissy fit when NBC hired Mike Tierico to do the games when they were on NBC instead of a mid-70s Al Michaels, so much that NBC had to back off on it.
