The court found Dylan Farrow’s claim to be credible and Allen not to be. The court also found that Allen had attempted to influence testimony. He lost four court cases over this, including two appeals. Other adults (non family members) corroborated Dylan’s account at the time. This is not a “he said, she said” but

Even if that was what this is, so what? Were the actors who worked with him starving in the street so that it was do his movie or die?

“Dweebish,” literary men who are often seen as stand-ins for Allen himself, sometimes even played by Allen himself. But nope, no one sees a connection... and Soon Yi is clearly so very devoted to him, so how can you fault a man for ~falling in love~ with her just because he was a paternal figure* throughout her

For every “deep” or “real” woman that Woody Allen has written/created (and I would argue some of those characters are vastly overrated), there’s an equally cringe-worthy one he’s unleashed upon the public. Consider the following roles, which range from merely unremarkable to downright awful, stereotype-laden, dreck:

“Open secret” can mean different things. For example, I heard continuously (through online sites, I’m not part of the entertainment industry) that Singer gave parties for 18-25-year-old guys to get drunk and party and possibly sleep with him. That’s not a good sign. If everyone you hook up with is way younger than

.......LOL.......I think you mean “his twee little boots”.....

Wow, that sick family member excuse didn’t take long to fall apart. Fuck you, Bryan Singer.

The Goblet spit out his name. He didn’t have a choice. Backing out was explicitly not an option.

Personal life aside, Johnny Depp’s acting has devolved into a camp parody of itself. What he seems to be nowadays is a Tallulah Bankhead impersonator. (Right down to the drunken slurring).

Which, if you think about it, is kind of the point of the article. Interesting proof of concept, really.

You’ve completely disregarded the point of the article to focus on someone who put spyware on her own computer. If you’re so concerned for privacy, why not address how this guy violated her privacy by publishing her private sexual habits for all to see?

According to her, she had a computer. She put spyware on her own computer to monitor her physically abusive partner’s behavior when he used her computer. She removed the spyware. She sold him the computer. According to him, she put spyware on it, monitored his novel-writing, and stole it. You may not believe her

It was her OWN computer.

It was her computer!

Cline does not “admit to having been an abusive partner.” She admits to behavior you view as abuse and she does not. Defining “abuse” as a twenty-year-old putting keystroke-recording software on her own computer, which her thirty-three-year-old partner sometimes used, so that she could establish that he was cheating

Every time I read an article from some Boomer complaining about how my generation is self-involved and narcissistic I want to remind them that entertainment pandering to and venerating Boomers is now entering it’s sixth decade.

I don’t think anyone disagrees with you on that....

Yeah, it’s grown significantly since I’ve been here as well. Probably more like 70/30... I’m in a very traditionally male dominated industry that is going through a major change with more women entering the field. We’ve been hiring lots more women and people of color and it’s making the environment even better.

Not sure why that’s your business, but no. I have a computer.
