I disagree. I think Trump is way easier to rally the opposing forces against in 2020. If it’s ‘just Pence,’ well, anyone who’s not a woman or LGBT doesn’t have quite the same furor against him, we lose interest in opposition, and we go red again. If it’s the threat of more Trump, people stay incensed.
