I liked the Crazy Hank character model.
It’s really the same format as the others, it was just set up differently. “What if Peggy Carter got the super-soldier serum”. “What if T’Challa was picked up instead of Peter Quill?” And, in this case, “What if Hope VanDyne joined SHIELD instead of Pym Tech?” The difference was that we saw the fallout of that change…
Cel-shading CGI ain’t cheap. Neither is paying a small army of Hollywood A-listers to do v/o.
yeah it also had the right amount of ‘fuck you’ to the audience which i like best in these kinds of stories. seeing tony stark die in the first 5 minutes rocked!
A glorious purpose, even!
Bell is great, and I agree that seasoned VAs are better than screen actors testing the waters, but over her career Johansson has voiced a snake, a singing porcupine, a sentient app, and the daughter of Neptune. She’s even got the same Robot Chicken cred as Bell. So I think she probably would’ve been fine.
I’m assuming that Hope had access to her dad’s formula
The storm from Thor being banished is actually seen in the background during Incredible Hulk.
Hank never would have given her Pym Particles while working for SHIELD. He’d be too worried SHIELD would take them from her and use them in ways he wouldn’t like. That was why he didn’t want the Avengers called in the first Ant-Man.
Yup, “Fury’s Big Week” has been an established thing since before The Avengers, albeit not a highly mentioned or publicized thing, when they were first figuring out the timeline.
Even if that were the case, I’d buy it. Bucky’s a super soldier, and we don’t know anything about how long Hope would have been an agent, or how highly-trained she was.
Hope died on a mission in Odessa.
Carina got to throw off her chains and live!
God bless you Boseman, you poured every minute you had in this life to continue making us smile, laugh, and feel inspired.
I’ll take this as a wonderful gift of his legacy.
And that T’Challa Starlord outfit is definitely going to be seen at alot of Cons.
Yes Chadwick's voice didn't sound on point as it should have, but he was dying of a painful cancer while recording.
This one is an A in my book. I really loved the conceit that T’Challa would reform the Ravagers and the effects that would spiral out from that. Thanos and Korath were great fun in their new roles. I do wonder what happened with Ronan, and if they’re going to be making a conscious effort to avoid the Infinity Stones…
Have you never actually read Shakespeare? Monologues in Shakespeare’s plays are frequently used as the Elizabethan equivalent of an “info dump”.
I love how the article tries to insinuate that it was terrible that she took a week to respond to this manufactured controversy. Y’all ought to be ashamed of yourselves.
