And here I was thinking this was one of the funniest, snappiest episodes the show has ever done.

I love how Trent Crimm was set up to be the smarmy antagonist reporter that everyone hates, and ended up being a genuinely kind person who wants the whole team to succeed. He’s such a lovely addition to the main cast, I love the new energy he brought to all the scenes.
At first I found the tonal shifts of Shrinking a bit jarring, like the reviewer did, but now I think they’re an honest depiction of grief. When you’re grieving, life swings from unimaginably painful to totally ludicrous in the blink of an eye. Everything seems silly because so many things that were once so important…
Yeah I think the problem might be that the writing for her is tonally quite different? Her character is played completely straight. On a show where every other character is zany in some way, and apologises and cracks jokes when they express deep emotion, she comes off very serious and therefore a killjoy. Plus her dad…
I’m waiting for the Madisynn, Wong & Blonsky show.
Yes, I think that’s the ultimate failure of the finale for me. If the show was about her life falling apart, and then her putting it back together again, then show that.
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law doesn’t seem very strong on the law aspect.
Paul Rudd is the real Mr Immortal
So the guy didn’t know She-Hulk transforms into a human woman? How is that even remotely conceivable?
Was it there to contain human Blonsky?
Oh no, I’ve become the very thing I swore to nitpick.
“Now the library’s more than just a quiet place to shoot someone!”
I thought he was doing more of a riff on a crusader outfit, since he likes knights and stuff.
I loved how the Russian guards and their semi autos couldn’t kill the monster but Hopper does it with one head shot with a handgun in the very next scene.
100% robbed. Baffling that she won a Golden Globe for Felicity but not The Americans. I know the quality of tv now is much higher than it was in the 90s but c’mon.
I’m enjoying this series but it’s a bit of a mess. Ethan Hawke is fabulous though, I think he’s the best villain Marvel’s ever done.
They snubbed Tatiana Maslany for the first few years of Orphan Black as well, and only reluctantly started nominating her after there was an outcry about it. But Marvel is so much more high profile than TGP or Orphan Black, so fingers crossed I guess?
Yes, they were the police officers. They popped up again during the some of the dig scenes last ep and then we saw the bearded police officer get murdered and canopicked by the mummy sorcerer in this ep before he became an orderly in the mental hospital.
It was such a frustrating scene. It required everyone to act painfully stupidly, including Khonshu who’d literally just said that their case needed to be airtight. I was mentally yelling, “STOP WHINING AND TELL THEM ABOUT THE TATTOOS YOU DUMBASS” the whole time.
I can’t stop laughing at this. It’s emblematic of how ridiculous the show got in the last two seasons.
