Yeah, you’re right it worked as he got one of his stated outcomes, I just don’t buy for a second he thought Sylvie would ever choose to run the TVA. No one who spent ten minutes watching her would think that. Perhaps he really wanted them to destroy the sacred timeline all along, or perhaps he’s just not good at

Seems like it. If the TVA have a new enemy, I’m guessing it’s Dr Strange and his merry bank of monks. Or possibly they’re chasing down Nexus beings like Wanda.

“Superhero therapy show” is my new favourite genre.

Good news alwaysgrayneverseen, I seem to have successfully pulled you out of the grays! (Is this my superpower?)

I’ve disagreed with every single one of these reviews and this is no exception. I thought this was fantastic. It’s the first of the D+ Marvel shows that really stuck the landing. Wandavision was great but kind of petered out towards the end there.

The long speech by He Who Remains had a real Shakespearian quality to

Now Roupenian has admitted she based the characters on them, I imagine Nowicki and the family of “Charles” are owed royalties? The filmmakers won’t be too happy Roupenian just straight up admitted it like that.

The only reason I can think of is they were underlining it because the Big Bad behind the TVA is a female Loki.

But I am probably giving them too much credit.

Everyone acts like Loki would be the worst ruler ever but the only time he was a ruler, he took funding out of the military and put it into the arts.

If it was, she would’ve been pruned as a baby.

Oh yeah, she definitely saw there was a power vacuum and wants to step into it.

I love Sylvie and Loki and I’m 100% on board with whatever their relationship is, but after that big conversation about betrayal I can’t help but feel someone’s going to get betrayed.

You judge Kinja? You point out its flaws like critic? Oh! Jail for commenter! Jail for One Thousand Years!

“There was one time my brother transformed himself into a snake, because he knows how much I like snakes, and so I picked the snake up to admire it, but then he turned back and went ‘AAHH! It’s me!’ And then he stabbed me.”

Imagine being able to speak to our past AVClub selves and tell them they are going to miss Disqus one day.

There was a whole plotline about Jay and Marissa making the same amount in season 3.

Ah Darkness at Noon. It’s true, its famous speech, “People think there are just black hats and white hats, but there are black hats with white lining and white hats with black linings, and there are hats which change back and forth between white and black, and there striped hats” does sound like something they’d say on

I’m disappointed this isn’t being reviewed regularly.

I loved Maia at first but she went in a weird direction. It was like they were trying to play out Alicia’s arc all over again.

I just re-watched season 4 and they did show a few snippets from season 4 in the first few minutes. They were the same scenes but different shots and with different dialogue, the bits that probably landed on the cutting room floor originally.

Wow, did all of the comments for this episode get Kinja-ed into oblivion? What a waste.
