Add a few thousand pounds to the truck as well.
And the only one left that you can still get a manual and a V6. Great choice.
Yup. I’m one of those. I bought a new 2016 6sp Pro-4X for the value. I paid close to $31k out o the door for a fully loaded truck. The right size and the right equipment. I hope they don't screw it up and keep what makes this truck great. Honest and a great value truck.
They should do what they did with the Rogue and introduce the new model as the Frontier, and keep this honest little thing going another couple years as the Frontier Select/Classic/Workman/Clever Name Here with just the minimum required updates to get it to acceptable safety ratings and include the federally-required…
“futuristic look” will likely equal squinty headlights and +$10K in asking price.
They will find a way to mess this up. Nissan design language has never been my favorite, as new models tend to make old ones look REALLY dated. So basically means in Tesla speak “it’s still in Beta” means “we wanted to be different so we designed a way to do things different from what’s been deemed reliable in the past and we fucked up.”
Not rushing to anyone’s defense, but the difference may be that the Teslas wipers activate from visual detection (eg, droplet distortion similar to the displayed image in the test) rather than the traditional windshield capacitance sensors used in most auto wiper systems. I’d assume that if any other manufacturer has…
