I cannot tell you how much I appreciated this comment.

It’s really surprising, in 2019, to have the automatic wipers on your new car freak out.

Nicely said.

I’ve never thought of it that way, but maybe the original name for the Caliber was the “Penitence?”

The Caliber could not have sprung from anything clean. :-)

It was just hatefully cynically cheaply designed.

Thank you! I am happy to contribute to this important dialog.

The Dodge Caliber was like throwing up in your own mouth, as a car.

Drove one of these at a Skip Barber school. Maybe I had low expectations going in, but had so much fun I was trying to rationalize buying one as a track car when I left.

We couldn’t be more appreciative of the partnership we’ve had with the City of Louisville

Looks fine to me, and will serve a lot of people’s needs.

I don’t even understand this comment it’s funny.

I read somewhere that building cars is hard.

I actually, honestly LOLd. Thank you.

Yeah the platform is just great. Imagine if they took the C7 platform and made it NA only with a 5.3~ish SBChevy engine. Then, they solely focused on feel, refinement, and just sort of pushed the Boxster segment around.

True! The C7 has a great layout and enough “purpose built” bits to be really special, especially for the price. Probably I’m just worried that in this era of “SUV All The Things!” what are the odds GM will want to keep making Camaro, Corvette (C7) and Mid-Engine C8?

That’s a good point, I wasn’t thinking of the Camaro. And I’m happy to see them competing with things like the Cayman.

I will personally be bummed if the C7 is just replaced by this.

Creepily, the Model 3 has an inward-facing camera.

They have a bunch of cameras (and ultrasonic sensors, and radar) for the autopilot and long-promised “full self-driving” features.
