I'm with you, especially about Acura. It makes me sad just to think about how far they've fallen, especially in innovation, fun to drive, and styling—enough with the beaks, already.

Okay, I'm a Honda fan who isn't that excited about a lot of their recent stuff (I own an NSX). Talking with a pilot friend, I asked about the HondaJet, expecting him to be disappointed. But he thought it was innovative, cool, and a plane he'd love to own and fly. He was genuinely impressed—and this guy has flown a lot

I think I'd configure mine thusly:

Given modern technology, the hardest part is going to be emulating the neurotic unreliability of the original.

Wow, did RCR actually like something for once?

Dr.Youabian decided to finally get all indignant about the fact that most people not raised by a family of Cthulus find his car hideous, but he sure is mad now.

I've always sort of wanted an RV, anyway, since they satisfy that same part of my brain that loves Salyut space station interiors and gets off on extreme space utilization.

Wait, Doug has a Ferrari?

I just always assumed it was a Clark Kent / Superman sort of deal.

Do you not understand how large numbers work? I have a feeling the author of this piece wanders into a grocery store, opens up a carton of eggs and goes "Man, there must be millions of eggs in there, I can't even count them all. It's uncountable."

This. There are probably counterexamples, but at least some models of Mercedes from that era worry me (which is okay, because they're not to my particular taste anyway).

+1 for teaching me the proper term for our language is "Jalopnish."

-Mustang ST

And, Schrempp managed to cheapen and dilute the Mercedes line while he was at it. Personally I find the Mercedes of that era to be some of the least desirable (not to say they're bad looking or anything, just that they lost the "bank vault" quality.)

Also perhaps I should mention it can be piloted upside down?

I don't know about weirdest, but maybe coolest: The DeepFlight Super Falcon. Carbon fiber construction, and it's buoyant...it has to be powered to "sink," because it uses its wings to descend under power. If you lose power, the thing just bobs back to the surface. I hear it's fun to "fly," too.

#ThatWillBuffOut ?

In the Accord example, if the problem is really isolated to the radio and doesn't affect things like climate control, it seems odd to pull the recommendation. As ADabOfOppo said, these faults still need to be catalogued and fixed—they're increasingly common, but not in the same class as a self-destructing valvetrain

Also, "Corbin Sparrow kooky engine swap" gives me a great terrible idea for LeMons.

Or in this case, stall is probably "dead battery" since they're electric. Unless this one has some kooky engine swap. Which would raise other questions.
