Depends what source you look at. Not sure which one you used, but I pulled up VGChartz and NPD Group numbers just now, as they were among the top results for a search.

This is coming in the mail tomorrow (or hopefully today) – very excited for it, sounds great.

LoS2 was fun, sure. I still liked it, but the first was better.

My impression is there are very, very few people – regular players OR reviewers – who would agree with the argument that LoS2 is better than LoS1.

Question – as someone with not-terribly-strong nostalgia ties to the series, has there been ANY 3D Castlevania that was accepted by fans? I’ve played the NES original, the N64 games (fine, forgettable), and most of the DS games (good), along with the three LoS games.

Counterpoint to an earlier aside in the review - outside of the modern shit in the second one, Lords of Shadow series is great.

He is saying it’s more difficult to get a team together (ie that’s like a raid boss in itself) than it is to beat the actual raid boss (ie, Atheon is the bonus fight that comes after the initial, harder fight of getting a team together).

I’m not saying at all that Wii U didn’t have good games, but my money is tight these days and there was nothing I personally wanted bad enough to overcome that and buy the system.
