If you’re implying that her mom’s acting skills aren’t.... good, then yes, can confirm 100% she inherited them. Kaia Garber was in a recent season of American Horror Story, and it was like watching a robot trying to express emotion.

One of the members of this group was in elementary school with my son, and lives on the same street as my dad. My understanding is that his dad basically indoctrinated him, leading to flyers with his picture about Nazis in the area going up all over the neighborhood. Really a sad, scary situation.

In a house where six young people live, I can imagine it’s a near-constant stream of coming and going, noise, random friends, etc... might as well just install a revolving door. That one of the survivors is being persecuted is beyond awful; it’s so easy for the people who weren’t there, who will never experience

There is actually nothing wrong with the way that roast is cooked- it’s perfect. If you like your red meat cooked within an inch of its life that’s all well and fine (except, not really), but no one is getting “botulism” from that meat.

I wonder if it’s that, or that Russia wouldn’t give up Whelan for Bout. Whelan is locked up for espionage, which is a whole lot worse than a little bit of hash... but the US was very, very motivated to get Griner back, likely in part due to all the press and heat on her case.

Oh she was absolutely a political pawn, that was so clear from the get-go. But if they wanted Bout back, why not just trade Whelan in the first place?

The press continues to state that she was “wrongfully imprisoned”. How, if she was caught with an illegal substance, and faced charges to which she plead guilty, was her situation wrongful imprisonment? To be clear, I think the fact that she was arrested for having .7 grams of hash oil on her is preposterous, but that

Sharing this level of detail feels really exploitative to me. We know he took his life and that he was loved by so many people. What is the value of publishing the manner in which he took his life, or that he was in a motel? Can’t his family just be left in peace?

I have horrible vision and see an ophthalmologist in addition to my optometrist. He’s Harvard educated and highly sought-after, and his take was that with Lasik you take 100% of the risk, only to have to likely wear glasses again 10 years later as your eyes continue to age, and it’s simply not worth it when vision can

Such a great point!

I have to believe there are zoning/health and/or code violations associated with putting beds into an office space. Not to mention the fact that this is just beyond bonkers. I’d have to be getting paid an outrageous amount of money to even consider sleeping at work, and even then, I’m not totally convinced I would do

What is the qualifier that changes a regular, run-of-the-mill affair, to a torrid affair?

The other one going around these days that I really like is the comparison of how many kids have been molested at a drag brunch vs at church.

The photo is legitimate nightmare fuel.

Also, thanks for the link!

Just, oof, what a gut punch. Not for nothing but writing “Ramey hasn’t seen her father since she was two years old” with no other commentary on their interactions seems misleading and unnecessary, and gives the impression that there was no relationship, when clearly there is. Heartbreaking. I pray he gets the stay

Is there anything out there about why she hasn’t seen her father for what amounts to her entire life? The whole situation is terrible, and my intention is not to sound insensitive but, how does this violate her constitution rights, and if she’s had no relationship with her father to this point, how does being there

It’s been 20+ years since I saw this movie and I can still vividly remember the score, and how terrifying Tony Todd’s character was. The direct sequel done by Jordan Peele in 2021 was incredibly well done, and almost as scary.

There are very few celebrities whose passing made me genuinely sad- Chadwick Boseman is at the top of the list.

Um, excuse you, his wife is a “medical professional” which means he’s clearly able to speak to why the maternal mortality rates in this country are what they are.
