I am 100% hate-watching this show. I fully admit it.

All of the thumbs up for your 4th reason. So, so dreamy!
I mean, I know that when I, personally, am in a “fragile mental state” the first thing I do is start dropping N-bombs left and right (no I don’t).
I have just shy of $30k left to pay on my student loans, which have been refinanced to a private lender, with no hope of being forgiven. And you know what? I’m ok with that. I’m in place where I can make the payments and there is a light at the end of the tunnel. That’s a light that so many people will never see, and…
At what point should Alec Baldwin just, I dunno, stop talking? This is/was an absolute tragedy, and I can’t imagine how Halyna Hutchins’ family must feel about him continuing to speak out and make excuses about what happened.
Also, I’m pretty sure the MAGA population wasn’t watching Empire. JS isn’t really what I would call a mainstream star (unlike his sister, who is amazing), how would they even know who he was?
“What they’re saying is if someone commits a first-degree intentional homicide but shows some evidence they committed as a direct result of trafficking, that essentially gives people a license to kill their trafficker.”
Publicly shamed for what, exactly? It was the DA and the prosecution who ruined this man’s life, not Alice Sebold.
Co-sign on lice preferring clean hair- they secrete this glue like substance that lets the eggs really stick to the hair shaft (which is often how you can tell it’s a nit as opposed to dandruff, you literally have to pull them off your hair), and it’s harder for them to stick to oily or dirty hair. I got an amazing…
There’s a lot of artistic license with timelines (as far as when certain things happened) but, like The Crown, it’s not meant to be completely factually accurate, just “close enough”. And I’m totally with you in the costumes, so good!!!
When I was 11 my parents gave me a box set of Bruce Springsteen’s music despite me never being a fan of his music or ever expressing any interest in him at all. It was then I realized they never really loved me.
My son is a history buff and made me watch this show with him- it is fantastic!
My (white) stepmother adopted her (white) son when he was an infant. And from the time he could walk and talk he was a lying, violent menace. After every suspension, every arrest, every stint in juvie or jail, she would buy him something, and make sure he and everyone else knew that whatever happened wasn’t his fault,…
All set with composting, thanks. I’ll keep my disposal.
My friend had her washer die mid pandemic and had to wash her and her five year old son’s clothes in the bathtub. It was a total pain, but also helped her to reinforce the “we don’t sleep in our daytime clothes” message to her son after showing him how gross the water in the bathtub was after she washed his stuff.
Completely agree. I grew up in house without a dishwasher or disposal, and if I had to choose between the two I’d go disposal every time. That thing is magical! (my dad has a commercial disposal in his kitchen and you could stuff, no exaggeration, an entire chicken down it. Amazing)
Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan. There’s a scene where some of the captives from the Enterprise get these worm-things dropped into their ears so Khan can control them, and for months and months and months I had to sleep with the blankets over my ears because I was convinced something was going to crawl in there…
I am all about my products, so I 100% understand the WTF-ness that comes with things being perpetually out of stock or discontinued. I also appreciate a good shopping challenge :)
If you go to the Target website they have the 13.5oz bottle for $5.29. If you have a Target Red Card (you can link it to your debit card if you don’t want the credit card version) you can have it shipped for free and you get another 5% off.
Also, how is Rosemary’s Baby even classified as a horror? There is not one scary scene or moment in the entire movie! (yeah, yeah, I supposed giving birth to the anti-Christ is scary in and of it itself, but still).
