I stand by my theory that most people living in NYC have some sort of mutant form of Stockholm Syndrome.

Glad that Claudia pointed that out about her dad because it's been really weird to watch libs stan for that guy. He's still a piece of shit, he just happens to not like Trump.
Counterpoint: her public persona lines up with the type of people who believe they own their children, and will do the extra dramatic thing to “show you what you’ve made me do”.
anyone else feeling realllllllly fuckin tired of the people who could have spoken up prior to him being elected but thought.... “nah, I’ll wait til I can make money off of my country turning into a dumpster fire and hundreds of thousands of people are dead”
The US is extremely litigious and definitely rewards the corporate level, but that specific story is a special kinda fucked up. That woman needed skin grafts by her groin and had life long disability that may have affected her life span. And after follow up law suits, McD barely had to pay shit. The US legal system…
I’m a supervisor at a place that employs students earning $8/hr with no benefits. We specifically told them enforcing mask policy is above their pay grade and come get me or another manager. I’m not gonna take a punch any better than them, but at least I get paid more and have health benefits.
I wish you knew how little we think about getting laid when we put on makeup and high heels.
I find it incredibly ironic that this guy was trying to get into a theme park based on “Sesame Street,” which has been teaching kindness, acceptance, and generosity for fifty years now. What’s next, a mad strangler in Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood??
And we will find out. We always do. Low self-esteem. Mommy issues. Ex issues. Drama. Anxiety. Controlling nature. Possessiveness. Anger. Jealousy. Entitlement. Paranoia.
I am very proud of and grateful to Ocasio-Cortez for nominating Sanders, and I hope that she continues to realize many of his dreams for this country during a very long and successful career.
An interesting world we live in, where a former waitress who works their way through college is elitist, and a second generation millionaire who lived in an actual tower of gold, is not.
Oh you sweet summer child.
I only attended two years of public high school followed by three years of community college (that I didn’t get any degree in) and I know all them words.
You’d think enough of them would hear “this family is obviously 1000% cursed” that they’d acknowledge it and step out of the public eye!
There’s the ones “disguised” like pine trees in NJ, which might be more fitting. I call them “New Jersey Trees,” since that was the first place I saw them and they seem to fit with the hassle we’d give my husband over there not being any grass or trees in all of the state.
Exactly.
That's because it is a cult.
It’s gotten exhausting. I’ve never really had much of a opinion on her but I do admire the fact that she’s obviously become educated on the issues enough to speak out and risk potential backlash. Why not call out the celebs who just insulate themselves by not wanting to be seen as "political"?
We are not worthy of Dolly Parton. I’m just grateful to live in the same world as she does.
Yep. That she thinks of “what a rational adult does as a matter of course” as “pampering” says a lot. It’s not pampering to do your fair share of household chores.
