tbh, I think the RPG genre (specifically in videogames) has become so ubiquitous, that it doesn’t have a ton of meaning anymore. We each seem to have our own definition of what makes a game an RPG. 

The “barbarians at the gate” comment is interesting because Sony was literally that barbarian at the gate 30 years ago.

Is the thrust of this post really people surprised that a fictional character doesn’t replicate another fictional character’s fictional achievement? What a weird angle to take earnestly—and here I mean this post specficically. Some people find this one fine, but it’s all made up! The good one or the “bad” one!

They were absolutley kids show, not a late teen show. People in America often found it as teenagers but its a kids show. 

Except Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z were series targeted to a young demographic. But go ahead and delude yourself in your beliefs
