Star Citizen continues to be a scam.

That’s a pretty narrow view of the genre, especially considering anything from Japan. The overwhelming vast majority of rpgs do not grant the amount of character agency you’re talking about.

Honestly its just a completely different experience co-op. I still love it as a single player game, but it works out so well co-op that it feels like a completely new game. It also does a much better job of letting each player feel important instead of it devolving in to “one MC and now players control the npc party”

Why is this a problem? If you want to only play the game with your friends, drop in drop out isnt going to prevent that

Jokes on you - I’m an Agnostic.

Hopefully this “gamer nexus” is next to evaporate to history. Trash content creators jealous of youtubers that did it for fun 15 years ago is getting damn old.

Oh, wait a moment. So you noticed an error, and *didn’t* take down the whole article to correct it?

But you didn't pull down the article and post it with the clarification, now did you?

dozens of videos and multiple podcast episodes a week”

“Kill yourself, capitalist whore. And I don’t use Netflix, I only pirate shit because fuck, torture and kill the rich and people like you who defend them.”

The people who made the video are a group of vfx artists who’ve been doing original work for years now though. They didn’t have to do it this way but are fanboys of pop culture who specifically chose to do it this way. They have a successful channel showcasing how vfx and stunts are done with frequent guests from the

I realize you are probably 16 and have no concept of the world beyond those few years but in my nearly half a century of experience I can think of a ton of things that were “sci-fi” when I was 16 that are realities today.

Nope. Was just bored and you were a random wrong person I found on the internet.

I'm not the one that made the comparison.

I have to wonder about how all these anti-AI machine learning people are going to react when one of these models cures cancer. Are they going to be sad about all the scientists who didn’t get to do it.

Should textile machines have never been invented, then?

No, one situation is unlikely to budge and one situation is practically impossible to budge. While changing our economic reality is an incredibly difficult endeavour it is at least more feasible than uninventing a technology. And the economic situation is even less likely change while everyone is distracted whinging

would you believe it that not all artists have formal training? There are plenty of self taught highly skilled artists that just do what they think looks good. Think of AI as a highly skilled amateur.

It does matter, because there’s a lot of vitriol being slung at people who see possibilities in the tech beyond replacing workers.

Overtly defining AI-generated images as “plagiarism” seems like a slippery slope that could lead to any art provably influenced by another person’s art as plagiarism. Yes, I get that the AI systems are literally TAKING- often against the will of the original artist- pieces of work and processing them to make it’s
