I don’t like this format, if it’s just a video there should be audio commentary, if it’s just blocks of text it should be an article so people can read it at their own pace.
I mean, I didn’t get around to playing largely because other things. But I liked the stuff for the sequel to the 2006 game, and was bummed that they canceled it and reused the brand for something that seems to have a very different focus, style, and story.
Not that I played the 2006 one. My brother had it, but gave up…
lol.
You’re clearly just being obtuse by trying to reduce this to some sort of rational decision.
Artists cape up for other artists. That’s just a thing. He’s being irrational about something because that’s just sometimes how things go with humans.
Should he not give a fuck? Yes. Absolutely, but “you shouldn’t feel that…
You say “that’s stupid,” but you’re the person here who is clearly experiencing an inability to understand what is clearly an issue for many other people.
Except it’s not generic to the creators of the game itself. Your comment completely dismisses that, shockingly, creators like to have agency over their projects down to the name that comes to represent that thing.
He’s lamenting that he felt like he erased other creators and their work while simultaneously having what…
To be fair, that’s literally the exact reason I didn’t give this game a second glance when I heard about it.
You seem to have a VERY difficult time differentiating the idea of “legal” and “ethical.” It is LEGAL for people to resell keys that they get, but it is UNETHICAL for people to sell the codes that were generated for the purpose of promotion/reviews/etc. This is what makes them shady. A developer is trying to…
Also the lack of any mention of the Razer Huntsman, another (and, importantly, previously-existing) analog keyboard and thus direct competition. (It’s optical, as compared to the 60HE’s Hall effect.)
Is this paid advertisement? A bit hard to tell these days.
This test can’t be as accurate as people claim. Anyone who makes hardboiled eggs knows that some of them float immediately. You could buy floaters today that have 3 weeks left on the official date.
It’s like they designed a game specifically to appeal to every one of my interests lol. Guess I’ll be signing up for early access on this one
I like how the figures don’t articulate, but are moved around like a child playing with toys, so each action is animated differently and has character.
Will the painter do the heavy lifting? I am not artistic at all, but this game has my attention.
Most of Shakespeare’s plays were a re-telling of older stories (particularly the Italian ones) anyway.
Well exactly, if they were re-telling shakespeare nobody would care.
Retelling favored stories is a tradition as old as storytelling. Each new storyteller adding their personal touch, some only changing the way they tell it, and others changing the story to fit the times or their preferences.
first draft they created:
But if someone is offering money to *not* put games on Game Pass, then that’s good for the developers because it ups the price they’d need to get paid if they decide that’s the way they want to go.
