This game literally has zero to do with Raven. Nor did Raven have any choice in the matter. Raven are locked away under Activision’s desk plodding away on Call of Duty.

Raven also told us years ago they were never getting the license again and the only sequel Jedi Academy would ever see would be in arcades (And it does

There *are* other places to scratch those itches. Games like TemTem actually do things better than Pokemon, to boot.

The DLC’s are all just cosmetic items for people that wanna support the developers further than just the cheap early access fee.

As for the early access part, fair enough. Especially, if you have AMD hardware. I’ve seen lots of reports from people having issues with AMD CPUs/GPUs.

That said, I didn’t even realize it

I second what Bereman said.

I’m not a giant survival game fan, but V Rising’s customizable server options let you change it out to your heart’s content and I’ve enjoyed around twenty hours so far just pluggin’ away in my own way.

All I know is *both* maps give me PTSD from playing them on snipe only servers.

Yeah, that doesn’t cover Blizzard forgetting to clip an object. lol

He most definitely is. lol

Dude legit thinks more world cups could help solve the African Migrant Crisis:

And that’s just the tip of the iceberg of his ‘bellendedness.’

Yup! Standard quick-play games let you turn off injuries, hand balls, fouls, or offsides all separately.

So you can turn off fouls, tackle away, and still have a decent game - or turn everything off for party mode. lol

Quote me the citation on the ToS where it says you can’t do this. I’ll wait.

No developer is dumb enough to ban someone for this. They forgot to clip the area. It made it through QA. It’s also *not* an exploit in the general software sense. No bans are going to be issued. ;)

I read the article, and it states, this was a qualifier match. Which means, it’s before the actual start of the season.

This rule has been shared with teams and players prior to the start of the season.”

That to me, sounds like they *did* make the ruling decision during the match and informed other teams/players of

Maybe I misread, but my interpretation here is that they issued this statement to teams AFTER this match.

This is a qualifier for the season. Said season hasn’t started yet.

No, you aren’t getting banned for this. It’s literally only deemed an exploit in OWL matches.

Blizzard forgot to block off a section of the map, and can’t prove the intent of the masses that might use it. They won’t be issuing a single ban. LOL

You’ve been able to turn off fouls in FIFA games for eons, so I doubt their new offering will be any different.

It’s been common practice for awhile now. The industries using it have just been rather quiet about it.

As an example, I’ve been watching deadmau5 on and off for the last two years programming his live shows in Unreal (He’s on twitch broadcasting him working on stuff for hours and hours and hours).

You know precisely what I mean. Alpha accounts are a relatively new thing in EVE in the grand scheme of things.

But you also say the previous play model was play-to-play, so I’m not really that surprised.

No, it never was that. The vast majority of the player base has *always* paid cash for subs. This is why Alpha was

You’re right, it isn’t a contest. lol

JK2/JKA had way more mods than Dark Forces.

You’re forgetting, in the days of all those titles being peak, there was a little website for mods called FileFront that literally set the baseline for what moddb became. It went down one day and we lost *millions* of mods for thousands

I don’t quite get how that’s screwing vets over, though. Most “vets” would remember that as the only option to play EVE. Being able to play EVE for “free” is a relatively new thing in the grand scheme of things, and if we’re talking in terms of “decade” - the OP never played during the time of subs being optional. lol

You aren’t wrong, but Outcast had one of the best online communities and modding scenes any game has ever seen.

If I’m looking at the games purely from a single-player campaign standpoint, you are 100% right....but with multiplayer, I’d be putting JKO *and* JKA about either Dark Forces.

not to double post, but on the topic of alts skewing numbers, CCP literally just put up some interesting data bout the Fanfest attendees LOL

6.5k accounts generated by just 830 players. Wild. I only had four accounts at my peak, and I didn’t even max the 3 slots on the fourth. lol

Where am I getting that notion?

For starters, the publicly available numbers on concurrent players and new player acquisition:
https://eve-offline.net/?server=tranquility

And a deeper understanding of those numbers from the inside of EVE having played on and off for two decades, and up until two months ago was a diplomat
