When I say 'making up' I'm not implying that they're mashing random number on their keyboards. It's the kind of random that anyone here could do. All they're doing is inputting a number that people could look at and think "that's believable".

Exactly, there's no source for the Author's claim besides his own guesswork (which is probably accurate). I just don't think that citing a website that knowingly publishes fake information is a good way to back-up what he is saying, and for that reason that part of this article should be omitted.
