It’s impossible for me to take a white 50 year old doing Michael Jackson cosplay seriously about anything.

I agree completely.
I believe Corey Feldman when he says sex abuse is everywhere in Hollywood and names names.
I believe Corey Feldman is a con artist who is using his and Haim’s past to make money.
“If I have to buy a fifth ticket, I’m going to be so pissed off,”
The NBA’s Golden State Warriors have league-last win % of .234; the NBA G-League’s Wisconsin Herd have a League-top win % of .767. Using the logic that simply compares win %, while deliberately/blithely ignoring relative levels of competition and revenue; The guys on the Wiconsin Herd should be making as much as Steph…
It’s uncanny how glamorously she has aged. Beautiful inside and out.
There are very few celebrities I'd actually want to hang out with, but I'd invite Miss Dolly over for a plate of biscuits and gravy and a pitcher of sweet tea any day. She seems like loads of fun.
You can’t control what other people spend their money on, and honestly I’m more bothered by the need to censor what people are allowed to publish than I am by the prospect of a woody Allen memoir that I don’t plan to read anyway. Woody Allen is reportedly worth 80 million. And if this sells well (and I’m not sure it…
I think I disagree. I mean they have some value, in terms of messaging and getting the word out about the candidate and their platform. Also, Beyonce’s support of Beto as you say came during the 11th hour, perhaps it was just too late (also Beyonce’s demographic skews young, as Bernie is finding out, that group does…
“Is there anything this book can possibly contain, short of a full admission of guilt (and even then?) that could be worthy of a book?”
Debunked? I’m honestly curious what the son of a sitting Vice President with no experience in oil and gas or international business brings to the table at north of $1 million per year. You think Biden would have otherwise known who some random Ukrainian prosecutor was and intervened in an investigation of a natural…
I discovered that on Twitter, if you suggest Bernie Sanders isn’t a 100% perfect human being, lunatics will yell at you. The same thing happens if you suggest Bernie Sanders isn’t a 100% flawed human being. Different lunatics, though.
It’s a cool website.
Well, there’s the rub. The audience for this book does not include Jezebel readers, so their boycott of it will have no effect.
I have no interest in explaining to anyone how the market works but I will say that investing should be part of adulting and the importance of that and voting should be taught starting in grade school.
My thoughts about it are that I invest my $5 a week, then sit on my stocks. Inflation will raise their value in some cases and I will get a bit more. Maybe I will lose some money if companies go under, and maybe some will take off and I will make more from those. It is just for fun. The same amount of money that many…
This. I see that some people have had some success with robinhood or whatever, but for most people, buy an index fund, (picking individual stocks is work or gambling). Don’t check it too often, don’t time things, don’t move it around, don’t treat it like a game with a score. This isn’t the busiest comment section, so…
“Oh, Goodness, Math and Money are just too hard for us! I guess back to the pop-py, soapy, superficial stuff!”
Open an account, buy a share or two of a minimally managed index fund with the lowest fees and then forget about it for 30-40 years
Kinda sad you thought it was too much work. Opening a rothIRA, or any kind of investment portfolio is a good way to start saving money. I use Fidelity to buy stock. It’s free to open an account, and easy to transfer my money over to it from your bank account. Once you have money transferred over to your investment…
Fidelity has a free account you can setup. No monthly fees. For regular stocks I believe they charge a flat $5 per stock buy. But they also have several mutual funds which have no fees at all. Now is a really good time to pickup stocks if youve been holding out before.
I would buy it, totally expecting the IMS to go, and then part out the car. An IMS repair can be a solid $2500.
