God yes. So tired of this. Most of us are reading this while at work. If I had time to watch videos I’d be watching better content that anything from someone who writes a click bait book “I Will Teach You to Be Rich” - gross.

more and more here “content” is other people doing the heavy lifting.

My feeling is, if I’m going to buy from Amazon anyway, I’ll use AmazonSmile.  It doesn’t cost me anything extra, and it means money will go to charity that otherwise wouldn’t have.  But it doesn’t sway me to buy from Amazon over another retailer.

Can someone watch this and write it down? Videos suck.

I wouldn’t call $80/year in promotional credits towards Kindle books I’d buy anyways “inconsequential”.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I’ve always assumed that Amazon’s impetus for launching Smile was that the minuscule charitable donation overrides whatever affiliate payout they might otherwise have to pay, which can be 6 or 8 times the .5% donation.

On Chrome, there’s an extension called “Smile Always” that automatically redirects all Amazon links/pages to the smile site. So then I never have to remember or think about it, and the World Wildlife Fund gets a few cents from me on the regular.

Don’t?

Despite those results, holiday tipping is still the norm—or, at least, it should be, said Patricia Rossi,

If you can’t tip your mail carrier at least 20% of the mail you receive, you can’t afford to get mail.

A recent survey on tipping by Creditcards.com found that 60% of adults never tip their mail carrier at the end of the year.

Quick Google search shows the mail carriers make an average of 17 bucks an hour. Why would I tip them?

Don’t feel too bad. I worked at an amazon FC for almost two years. It definitely sucked during Christmas especially, but all that over time I worked afforded me to pay some bills down and give my kids a nice Christmas. Amazon is not the place to work for long term unless you are a manager or straight outta college.

Yes. It was definitely the Russians 🙄

Are you calling him “Buttiegieg” as a way to mock him or are you accidentally misspelling his name (Buttigieg)? I can’t tell.

“Candidate who did a poor job running her own campaign drops out, while person running effective campaign and person who literally just joined still in the race.”

While her low polling numbers are due to a number of factors—her campaign’s disorganization and lack of a clear, compelling vision, not to mention her spotty history as a prosecutor, which has turned off more progressive voters—it’s hard not to notice that with her departure, and with the struggles of both Cory

This article explicitly cites a number of plausible explanations as to why Harris proved deeply unpopular as a candidate for national office: “disorganization and lack of a clear, compelling vision, not to mention her spotty history as a prosecutor.” The article then abruptly drops this line of analysis to attribute
