I suspect a very narrow - probably null - intersection of people who need concern themselves with wealth taxes and those taking financial advice from a blog.

I did get a rejection once from Chase for having too much outstanding credit available. It was resolved w/ a phone call and lowering the limit on a couple and applying the difference to the new card. ( I’m not a hard core points player, but I’ll take a signing bonus anytime there’s no annual fee involved ).
