I live by myself and have been attempting to cook at home more often, rather than doing take-out or delivery all the time. I also try to be thrifty with my food purchases. This usually means buying more than a single serving of everything. Not to mention that, unless you’re buying meat from the butcher or deli

I have this exact set and love it. I was *very* nervous about switching over to stainless, but I’m having fun learning the dos and don’ts.

Bias light users: do any of you use them with a TV positioned in a corner? I’m wondering if using them will create distracting shadows or light patterns with my TV positioned so.

Please don’t do this. I know nothing about your tastes or your palate. What might taste excellent to me might taste like bull urine to you. Do you like sweet drinks? Stiff drinks? The only way to know is to now barrage you with a litany of questions, which is taking away from my time serving other customers, which is

Kinja keeps telling me how popular mechanical keyboards are. Do the people buying and using them not work in a shared office space? I would probably lose my mind having to listen to an office mate loudly click away on their mechanical keyboard all day long.

I saw a video the other day where someone made a kitchen backsplash using Quikrete and Legos for the mold. I’d think the same principle could be applied to this project instead of the somewhat complicated mold technique she uses.

It can take a while to weed out the really small cuts, but I don’t see why this wouldn’t work.

Depends mostly on the quality of the material being used and the method of application. If done properly with quality materials, the iron-ons areas good (if not better than) store-bought shirts.

Yes, but if you’re doing a large number of shirts, you might just want to pony up the cash to have a shop do it. If it’s something you’re going to do often, then pony up the cash for an actual heat press to do the application. You *can* use an iron, but I couldn’t imagine doing that for 12 or more shirts in a row.

I’ve never had an issue with heavier vinyl. They do sell deep cut blades, so you can even cut leather with this.

Oracal 651 is suitable for outdoor use (signs, cars, etc) and the Cricut has no issues cutting it.

Came to see if the 2 ingredients were cinnamon and whiskey.

I think that might be a possibility. I have nothing really surrounding either device, though they are in different rooms. GH, to me, sounds more like a portable BT speaker, where the Echo sounds like a quality stereo speaker.

Disclaimer: I am not an audiophile.

Which Echo device are you using? The full-sized Echo’s speakers are far superior to the speaker in Google Home in my opinion. I’d even say the Tap’s speaker is better. The Dot, not so much.

I have both and also have a Hue system. I see little difference between how the two systems integrate with Hue. If anything, I think Google Home might have a slight edge with the configuration interface, allowing you to set nicknames for your lights.

That said, the ability to cheaply add Echo Dots throughout your home
