Dear Diary -

Since 9/11 a new type of patriot has come into existence. These fools think all cops and military are automatically heroes, and every celebration of national pride is specifically for them. Fools, fools as far as the eye can see.

When I stand for the anthem I start mentally checking off the various ballpark foods I want to eat that day.

The first thing civil rights activists don't do is compare atrocities among the oppressed.
