You’re gaslighting me by suggesting those dickish parent response examples are gaslighting. Quit gaslighting me!

He really shouldnt be given credit for Watchmen, because it sucked. He took an amazing comic, completely missed every point said comic was trying to make, fetishized all of the exact wrong parts, and churned out a thoroughly mediocre movie.
ZS is a cinematographer. But when given his head, he eschews character, or at least believes action defines character enough, and not too much to overshadow his camerawork.
This month America showed it can move past the dogmatic fervor of an angertainment movement. I hope one day that will one day be true in this case.
This is the platonic ideal.
Are you kidding me? A disfunctional Thanksgiving movie list that does not include...
It’s interesting if you watch some of the interviews that came out of Justice League. Cavill, despite the horrendous mustache CGI, is basically the only cast member who went out of his way to praise anything about the Whedon version of the movie, and that was specifically to call out that he preferred to play Superman…
Its hard to read this as anything but a soft repudiation of Zack Snyder’s view of Superman. It feels like we’re finally getting a virtuous, boy scout Superman movie and I’m here for it.
sounds like Superman to me
I applaud you for being part of the solution. There is nothing preventing people from creating stories that represent their experience. I hope your work resonates, is successful, and inspires more people to do the same.
There are a wealth of characters sitting unused. DC comics inability to stray far from the holy ‘Trinity’, and within the trinity S being the definition of apex power, both demonstrate a long-term mindset that needs to be overcome even in the animated shows.
I’m guessing Wasp will get her own “side quest” where they get separated when sucked into the device giving Scott and Cassie some time together. As for the TVA, I’m guessing Loki and Mobius will be in a post credit scene riding a jet ski together. Loki’s the big spoon but Mobius will be driving.
I liked a lot of what I saw.
I wonder how inheritance with reincarnation works though, since he can’t know in advance who he will reincarnate into. Is there just an estate sitting around until some teenager shows up being like “Hey mr. lawyer, I’m the reincarnation of this place’s last owner, gimme”
I’m going to take the high road today and just mention the positives.
A bit messy and too much “I’m not a hero” repetition (We get it), but I enjoyed it.
I’m surprised Tolkien fans would find any Middle-Earth drama slow. That’s normally my opinion of them, for all my love of LotR and all it inspired. I think it would be difficult to say one or the other covered more or less plot/character material per hour, but I found the movies tedious and am engaged with the series…
I suggested ad nauseum a female 007 , not a gender-flip James Bond. So, opposite, opposite.
I admit I have not been a Daniel Craig as Bond fan. Aside from having grown literally old in the part, something only Sean Connery did before him, his turn in the role began with some bad decisions. His Bond stories portrayed him as a mawkish brute. Gone are the casual affairs and celebratory sex. It’s not like those…
