I live near a toll road entrance/exit and Google Maps tells me to take the toll road to the frikkin’ grocery store. So, it is an extreme annoyance to many.

It is nice that OP tried to help on this, but a superior solution now exists in Google Maps as of a fall update. Select your destinateion in Google Maps. Once in navigation, say, “OK Google... Avoid Tolls.”

Whether my membership has lapsed, I have gone in to get my tires inflated with Nitrogen. They are good about just doing it and not really checking. I suppose if you have tires of the same brand as they sell, you could probably just bluff this.

Not sure how you can forbid a company from working on something. Patents apply to commercial activity. If you never sell or even distribute it, I don’t think a patent can prevent it any more than Slander/Libel laws can prevent someone from thinking insults but never speaking/writing them.

The only thing you left out, though implied, is that in the U.S. if you remove eggs from the refrigerator and those cooled eggs ‘sweat’ (condensation), then the sweaty eggs once returned to the refrigerator, may pull surface bacteria into the egg interior by transpiration.
