How does it compare to Thunderbolt? Given that Thunderbolt 2 is 20Gbps and with 2 lanes so (something along the lines of) 'theoretically' 40Gbps, wouldn't it have been better for Apple to make Thunderbolt 2 reversible and easier for other manufacturers to use?
