That makes sense. Thanks for the response.
So, the regular guy that has to work a job he can ill-afford to lose can gain some protection from the shittiness of employers. In theory, state or federal law could protect them, but the reality is that Jim-Schmo has to eat every day, as do his kids, and the drawn-out

“I had Tom McParland and David Tracy consult me on my car purchase.”

If anyone actually cared about illegal immigration it could be solved with one pen stroke. Stop chasing the immigrants and start chasing the employers who hire them. Make hiring people without real, provable identification and citizenship a crime and start arresting/ prosecuting people who do hire them. If there were

I'm about to find out what the story is. This car is 47 miles from me and I just took the day off to check it out. And my bank has a branch 10 minutes away.

This is how I would transplant

I agree with you. But just look at it.

This whole immigration debate is horseshit. The only thing we really need to do to fix the bulk of illegal immigration is enforce employment laws. Fine the hell out of companies that employ noncitizens illegally. Make the potential costs to employers greater then the benefits of employing people illegally, and there

It’s a solid suggestion - but whichever way you end up wanting to go with this, consider a slight change to the plan. The same people who want a 4 cylinder Mustang are those who want it with 6.

Selling a 1-2yo car is always dicey in my opinion. It’s too damn close to a new model and potentially better financing to just opt for the new model.  Factor in that it’s a private sale vs a dealer and that might really also dissuade someone from buying your right priced vehicle.

A lot of this is good advice, but if I sit bolt-upright in my car I’ll have to turn my head 45 degrees to the right to keep it off the roof.  So no, seat will be reclined a bit and shoulders will be a little off the seat from time to time, otherwise I just plain don’t fit in the car.

“Well, an industry professional disassembled their cars and said their build quality is something around 1980s KIAs.”

I would go nuts if I had to sit completely upright.

Me (using a heavy, lustful French accent): Oh, lover! Remember how after we went to New Orleans you fell in love with the French “razon extra” and have wanted to go to France ever since we talked to the guy talking Creole?
