Best Picture is really more about the director than anything else. Avatar has a great story behind it with Cameron's Hubris and blah blah blah so it'll at least get a nom to recognize that.

An innocent mistake? Probably. But someone should have caught it. It's not intentional, malevolent racism, but it's a kind of accident that it's way too easy to get away with.
