This is so much more distinctive, modern and in keeping with the design language they’ve been developing for the last few years. Why they abandoned this for something so generic, i have no idea.
Those of us that own them know that's a good thing.
It's a joke about the fact that Google found that switching back and forth between automation and manual control occasionally proved problematic. They solved the problem by purposefully omitting any manual controls.

The original hot rod, unmodified (except for electrical system). This is THE CLASSIC classic car. Asking $35k, with the additional $15k you can repair the seats and whatever. Just don't crap it up with "lead sled" mods.
