I work in a bookstore, and one of our publisher reps posted this on FB earlier. Everyone I know in books is basically sitting back with a tub of popcorn. It’s just so.. GOOD. And bad. But mostly just hilarious.

She rhymed “time” with “time” and I can’t get past that long enough to even TRY to enjoy the song
I use Google Keep for my DM notes, because I have a Chromebook. Syncs across all devices, can upload any form of media.. I love it.
Also, I would really, REALLY love to see a sideblog for tabletop and non-video gaming. Review, con updates, things like that. I would read the shit out of it.
I’m on a Norwegian Cruises ship called “Pride of America” and this is the lobby
Off topic, but I do the roller derby and I one of my favorite official’s derby name is Ducky. <3 your username alone gave me a smile
Y’all, I am on a cruise ship that’s decked out in “AMERICA, FUCK YEAH”
I’m on a plane to Honolulu.
Pandemic Legacy: Season 2. My group just got to October in Season 1 and I NEED MORE
I’m on the board of directors for a small environmental nonprofit. At our big holiday event last year, a prospective new member went down the line of us, shaking hands and asking names. I was at the end. I wasn’t greeted. He stopped at the member next to me. When I stepped up to introduce myself and presented my hand,…
And it snows and I have blueberry bushes in my backyard and I can walk to my car at night without worrying.
I like Maine.
I didn’t even know there were alternatives to Polar.
Lemon Polar is liiiiiife
There’s a gentleman in town who used to own a King-focused bookstore, and now he runs a little tour company that drives people to sites mentioned in the books. It’s actually a pretty great tour... the first 50ish pages of “IT” take place on the block I work on!
I live in Bangor, the town Derry is based on
If I had to guess, it’s because Maine has this timeless feel... and it’s kind of cut off from the rest of New England. I could see weird and spooky shit happening here and everyone just kind of being like “meh, that’s what we have to deal with”
Fun fact: The “Freese’s” tshirt at the end of the trailer is actually based on the department store of the same name in Bangor, the down Derry is based on.
And as someone who lives there.. I NEED THAT FRIGGIN SHIRT
My bachelorette “party” was me and my 3 bridesmaids sitting in my living room, trying to make daquiris in my new Ninja blender, watching “13 Going on 30" and “Mean Girls”
And I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

As a Mainer, I give this disclaimer: fuck Susan Collins
And like, I don’t think anyone should be commenting on someone else’s appearance.. but *slow clap*
Let them know what it feels like, Susan.
I live in a medium sized town in Maine, and we have a Discord server set up. There’s been about 20-30 people coordinating and monitoring raid groups all day. It’s been pretty awesome to watch.
And yes, watch, because I was stuck at work all day and didn’t get to join. :(
I have so many friends that have gone through Emerge Maine. It’s an amazing program. I’m considering it myself, except I have no desire to run for office. However, I’m on the boards for a few nonprofits and in the running for chair in one. I can’t help but think it would help.
Really? I see where it keeps track of how many you’ve earned, but I don’t see anything for each area
