@iTofu 3GS has no reception problems: Yes... but it´s a very important market (was the 2010 main priority for Microsoft, and 2011, too) and if you consider the HIGH social network usage there, it puts Google in a great position.

@CCM333: Never... That was the original intention but not much people outside Brazil want to join a Social Network mainly speaking Portuguese.

@iTofu 3GS has no reception problems: Orkut is VERY VERY popular in Brazil.

Well the opposite wouldn´t makes any sense, since they already have a Social Network (Orkut) with the same functionality than Facebook.
