Surprised this isn’t a listicle. Could probably Spanfeller things up by writing two or three lines and a picture, make for a 20-slide preview, right?
This slideshow format is garbage. I’ve stuck with Jalopnik for a long time, and Tom, David, and Torch are primary reasons why.
But making articles into slideshows to generate more ad views is going to be a REAL quick way to kill a lot more ad views, myself included.
I hope the Herb up top hears this, but probably not.…
Basic Details:

Engine bay is too small for a Lambo transaxle. You’d need to do some serious cutting.
I’ve got an 88 GT I need to offload...(has issues though).
It’s a bit of a disease. The 88s especially are a lot of fun to drive, and once you have one, it’s hard not to have more...
Oh boy can they. Trunk rust and cradle rusting are big issues. Even my always garaged except for 4 years 88 GT has some trunk rust.
Look. I like Jalopnik, and most of the authors. But none of you are pilots, as far as I can tell, and it really shows.
You know how many times I’ve seen people cross the active when they’re not supposed to, especially at municipal airports? How many times I’ve misheard ATC and been corrected by my co-pilot, or vice…
Why, just why, would anyone voluntarily wear an ACU top. I tossed all mine as soon as I could.
I am:
A 1985 German Rear Engined, RWD, FLAT-8 Van that is very fast and rusts horribly.
So a Porsche-ified VW Bus with 2 flat-4s?
Neutral: Wife and I had been/still are putting quite a bit into savings beyond 6 months expenses; we were going to trade in my FoST this fall for an M240i or a Mustang GT Premium.
Thank you! It looks a lot worse the closer you get lol. A lot of the paint got oxidized before I bought a house with a garage.
The mirrors use two bolts to mount to the door.
Awkward af video but at the timestamp it shows the bolt locations.
So, my understanding was the headrest speakers were standard in all 84 and 85 Fieros. They were eliminated for cost reduction and manufacturing ease. They really are superior to the 4x6s in the B-pillars.
Sort of like how my 88 GT has no different-color paint stripe on the bottom. Sold as a “styling change,” happened…
Yup! 88 GT 5 Speed, sunroof, (inoperative) subwoofer, A/C that worked till 2 years ago, and electric lumbar that still (mysteriously) works.
Just finished the passenger steering rack bushing, and doing inner/outer tie rods.
Then I have to drop the motor - valve seals and head gaskets.
