As far as I know, yes. I’m the stick-wiggler in the front, so I know a good bit about the twin 701Cs but the APU less so. It requires 2800psi hydraulic pressure to start, and it runs at a steady RPM and power output. Hot as hell though, and really doesn’t like outside ambient air high temps for too long.

Mind you, I’m only experienced with GE-T701C and T701D turboshaft turbines, plus the APU and whatever tiny turbine they put in Bell 206/ OH-58 A/C Kiowas, but...

There is no way in hell the average person would understand a turbine or the required maintenance. It would have to be pretty much a black box that the

Honestly, I’d drop it in my 88 Fiero GT if it was a little more powerful. Electric Fieros are not a new thing, but a drop in package is pretty appealing. But 110 hp is just a little short on oomph. (Stock, a GT was 138ish HP. I’m probably at 110 now lol, with 30 years of degredation.) I could put the batteries in the

Of course now I found the actual picture of my Impala. Also my G6 GTP, and my Fiero. Not pictured - the 88 Fiero GT, 2010 Mustang GT and ‘13 Focus ST that followed.

Hey! Always good to see another Fiero. My 1st was an 88 coupe, and my 4th (still have) was an 88 GT 5 speed, black.. Currently with the front suspension in pieces - my state won’t pass it with torn bushings. Doing the steering rack bushing too while I’m under there.

For reference, my first car (in 2001) was a 1988 Fiero coupe, with the venerable 2.5L Iron Duke I4. That my mom ran out of oil. Anyway.

Point of order: The UH-60L (I can’t speak for Mike models, but they’re probably the same) has a Velocity Not to Exceed (VNE) of 193 knots, not cruise. To hit VNE I’d probably be max torque, if ever, in straight and level cruise flight (and it would be like, 50 degrees outside, in a stripped-down bird.) Or a dive from

I knew I’d seen that scoop before. Therefore, C8 = Fiero

I have two. Firstly, I’m ashamed nobody has claimed the Audi Quattro S1. I’d kill myself, but would be grinning the whole time.

You, my friend, need to read/watch The Expanse series. The language is Belter Creole. It’s relevant to For Sweden’s reply because [SPOILERS] a Belter terrorist group/fleet/patsy/patriot dropped asteroids painted with radar absorbent material onto Earth. Far more effective and far cheaper than nuclear weapons.

I mean, it didn’t stop me from buying an 07 G6 GTP. Not a bad car at all, other than the torque steer and auto gearbox (the last that I would own.) Oh and the timing chains being not great. (07 GTPs had an early version of the now-ubiquitous 3.6 V6.)

Past Tense, In The Pale Moonlight, and Far Beyond The Stars are some of the best episodes of TV ever, in my opinion. Avery Brooks absolutely delivers in all three.

First thing I thought about too! (And commented.) The Bell Riots happen in September 2024. We’re pretty much on track at this point....

Oh, no, the V8 has lots of appeal - I had a 2010 GT Premium before my current 2013 FoST as my DD. I miss the V8 a lot.

So, my next car will be a Mustang, I’m fairly sure. (Probably a GT Premium.)

If there was an Electric Mustang that was on-par with the GT Premium, and at least 250mi range? I’d snap that up in a heartbeat.

Look, we’ve only got 5 years (almost exactly) until the Bell Riots. Trump is just trying to make the Star Trek utopia a reality by getting us on-track with the timeline. (Also skipping WWIII and Super-Soldiers, so far.) (Past Tense Parts I and II, DS9)

For those non-Star Trek DS9 fans, the Bell Riots centered around
