I thought they’d finally made a sedan SUV when I saw this. Very chunky and tall.

Your local Dodge dealer
Sign of the times when this is just about the only story on the first page of Latest with a car in the picture and not an SUV
I love late 80s/early 90s Hondas. Practical, boxy, utilitarian, beautiful.
Of course, but these are generally young 20 somethings who based on their profile and general demeanor are likely working retail or something entry level
What an ugly world consumers have made for us.
On TikTok I’ll occasionally see an employee of a dealership - it’s been a few, but it’s usually non-luxury brands like Toyota - asking their co-workers what their car payment is. The answers are jaw dropping. You know they’re not making that much, and they’re happily answering “$1200.”
I happened to like the old design. Too bad.
If you don’t want black, white, gray or blue, your only choice is Race Red.
Looks kinda Camaro-ish from that angle
As alluded to with the screenshot, Daytona USA was so advanced that home versions had to be downgraded significantly for years. It took until the 360/PS3 generation for a console to truly replicate the arcade experience. The Digital Foundry retrospective on the game has examples:
I thought this would shut up the “This is not what the Integra was!!!” people but I should have known better.
Looks like another large SUV that can’t see children in front of it
Exactly my thoughts when I saw 2K. Multiple currencies, tons of cosmetics and cars that are paid, “$99.99 - Best Deal!”
My dad really could use the added height of an SUV and he is currently stuck driving a Camry with the seat all the way up. I’d get him an SUV with the best safety features, cameras, you name it.
Naming a supercar after Crispus Attucks is a decision
That was at least to buy them time to turn around a near death company. This just feels like their business plan of hype cycles has caught up with them. They were used to releasing products not as good as advertised, then papering over that with new hype cycles. Now they just have nothing to say.
The problem is that if they did learn a lesson, it was far too late. The company’s entire model for years has been based on raising capital and stock prices around hype cycles. They got caught with their pants down since they haven’t been able to ship anything.
Too expensive, kinda ugly (particularly compared to the 5),too slow in the base model, not a hatchback. No thanks.
It’s so funny in hindsight that people heard about these headline features and thought it was for a new RWD mid-size sedan.
