A couple in the parking garage I park in every day

I do wonder if the garishness appeals in other countries/cultures because the target audience in the US sure as hell cannot afford these.

The proper question is “Why isn’t every headline LOTR themed”

Cadillac says those screens have the pixel density of a 4K tv for super high resolution

Honestly it looks fine. Sexy, no. But whatever. It’s a truck for mall crawling.

There’s always room for outliers but when I look at people driving SUVs it’s usually women that are 5 foot nothing.

Sure, but the previous gen Sonatas aren’t exactly 90s Hyundais either. They’re still quite nice.

For a few months IIRC there was a dropoff albeit a short one and stories of panic

“Why the hell did these exist?

That plus VW already had some desirable vehicles that were seemingly scandalproof. I tried getting a GTI lease in the middle of Dieselgate hoping to see if I’d catch a deal. They were practically giving away Jettas but they were high on the GTI and wouldn’t budge.

“The dealership management, who used to be, like, ‘We gotta sell new cars, new cars, new cars,’ now says ‘Well, just make money on the cars. Who cares about the sales objectives?’ “

Fuck off and don’t come back

That’s right, it’s time for the EclipseCross Evo

Do you honestly believe that the amount of people that live half an hour from a gas station is remotely comparable to the amount of people that live in an apartment without EV charging?

I live in an urban environment that is not a capital or enormous city that does not have a vast charging network.. I’m not dismissing EVs, in fact I’d love one. I just can’t in my situation.

Yeah, that’s absolutely a good comparison. The same amount of people live without cell phone towers as the ones that don’t have the ability to charge an EV overnight. You sure got me there, genius.

By the way, to every chud on here who thinks the smart answer is “well durr just don’t buy it,” here was the obvious point you very clearly missed:

Normally I’d say this is another case of why you never fucking announce something until it’s close to shipping. But this is the exception since Tesla’s revenue and stock price are 98% or more dependent on grandiose announcements to distract from the last announcement being vapor.

“Feature complete just means like it has some chance of going from your home to work with no interventions. So that’s, doesn’t mean features are working well.”

Some of us can’t plug in when we get home
