I noticed that but it still makes me wonder if these were a better option than hex or Torx. Given that it’s NASA who have a pretty strong reputation when it comes to engineering and thorough planning, I have to assume that there was some logic behind the decision. I just wish I knew what that was.

I lost the bolt and nut holding my ankle strap in at the top of Steamboat a few years back. That was fun. Luckily I found someone at one of the lift lines on the way down who had some zip ties. Wasn’t the most secure or confident ride down but it worked! Anyway, back on topic, this would have been much worse if I was

This is why people can’t stand WRX drivers.

My own opinion may show in my question, but that does not mean I’m not still asking that question. If you think it’s a good looking car, it’s as simple as saying “yes I actually do like the styling.” Doesn’t have to be a whole thing.

Yes, I agree that styling is subjective. I also mentioned that maybe the other characteristics of the car are more important in overall satisfaction. In this case though, I was specifically talking about the phrase referring to the styling as “polarizing.” I am genuinely curious if there are folks out there who think

Lol calm down there, Captain Aggro. After you untwist those panties maybe you can actually read my comment and realize that I was asking if there were actually people who think it’s a good looking car, which is the exact opposite of assuming everyone has the same taste as me. Seems I’m not the one having so much

That’s fair. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, I just feel like polarizing implies that people actually think it’s good looking rather than just “not too bad.” I’m probably looking too much into this.

Enough time in the car industry and you’ll likely see Sprayway used to clean just about every square inch of a car, inside and out.

Well, I get to add “six pack on a pig bra” to the list of terms I’ve never heard before now.

The Hyundai Ioniq 6 has some polarizing styling

A lifted truck is just as unsafe.

Lol Bentaygae.

Or quickly turned into barely-used CPOs. Also the $7,500 lease credit is still applied to these because they’re technically considered a 2 year lease, just without the early termination penalty after a few months.

Makes sense.

So, basically Honda and Toyota with a sprinkle of Mazda. I’m shocked.

Tesla has the most “accidents,” which are crashes and is exactly what the headline says. Ram has the most “incidents,” which includes the other stuff like speeding and DUIs. It helps to read the article sometimes.

I was actually talking about the “it’s giving” thing. Though I am seeing the Uncanny Valley comment a lot too lately.

...this 928 is giving uncanny valley.

The stainless (mis)matching issue is actually a very good point. My work has dealt with this issue after having replaced some brushed stainless panels. The color and darkness has never actually matched perfectly, even with the new panels supposedly coming from the same supplier. Maybe they have this perfectly ironed

Seems wrong to leave out “former NASA engineer who worked on the Curiosity Rover that was sent to Mars.”
