Yeah the difference is the human driver likely would have seen the person as soon as they entered the road and started reacting then, so a second would have been more than enough. From looking at the video, the vehicle pretty much waited until the person was directly in front of it and THEN triggered the 1 second…

Yeah, every strap is adjustable on a 5 or 6 point. I’ve found that the general public tend to set theirs up too loose at first, not expecting the forces of hard driving on a track.
