I don’t hate millennials and it didn’t occur to me that anyone would take my comment that seriously.

Omg me too! I thought I was gonna have to make my “I will punch every millenial I see if Trump wins” speech.

Same. I even copied:

Jesus, you scared me for a minute there.

Everybody from New York on my Twitter feed has been complaining about the weather for the past couple days. Perhaps we should trust the observations of people who were actually there rather than trying to armchair-gauge a temperature halfway across the country from us?

he says WILL, every time:

Gabriel came to Mary and told her that she WOULD LATER become pregnant through the Holy Spirit (Luke 1:31, 1:35). Mary agreed to this in the verse cited above (Luke 1:38) and later sang about her joy to have been selected and that through her, generations would be blessed forever (Luke 1:46-56). God did not “rape”

And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.

Glad to hear there are no Muslim feminists.

I offer my condolences to any of the family she had who might have loved her, and my congratulations to anyone who’s suffered under noxious judgment. Farewell Phyllis. You won’t be missed.

It sounds like she was planning on using the film as a jumping off point for her own discussions/advocacy, regardless of the other people involved.

You probably do. I mean, not in the sense that it’s actually necessary, but I’ll bet they won’t hire you for it without that.

No they would not because you are an adult at 18 in America and it isn’t illegal to have consenting sex with an adult.

No one said we shouldn’t believe Broaddrick because Hillary loves Bill. The point being made is that it is understandable why Hillary would want to believe that her husband is not a rapist even whilst simultaneously holding the belief that women who claim to be raped should be believed, not that we should never

You’re mistaken. The point is accusations of sexual assault are overwhelmingly true, so the police and judicial system has a duty to believe the accuser rather than look for reasons to discredit her and pass on properly investigating sexual assault.

That seems to be a huge oversimplification. In general, yeah, sexual assault victims should be believed. But I don’t think it’s fair to expect Hillary to immediately turn on her husband because of an accusation that hasn’t been proven and has no really compelling evidence (which I know doesn’t mean she’s lying, and

The right to be believed doesn’t dictate personal behavior. It’s a standard for police investigation and public reporting - the idea that any alleged rape is likely true and should be investigated and the victim supported. It doesn’t mean that a woman must believe the word of a stranger over that of her husband and

One assumes when Hillary Clinton says that sexual assault victims have a right to be believed, she means by the authorities etc. when they report. Because a lot of women have a hellish time with the police and whatnot placing the burden of proof on sexual assault victims and re-victimizing them. And I also agree with

No, but she does have a lifelong history of public service. It’s interesting to me that the perception is that HRC took on Universal Healthcare because she wanted the power that came with it, and not because she was genuinely interested in using her abilities to actually help people. Personally, I believe she was

You can’t know what’s going on with them, though. That’s the thing. HIS career suffered no serious setbacks because of the allegations, yet guilt by association is apparently enough to tank the career his wife (who has not, as far as I know, ever been accused of rape)?? They’re not actually the same person. Meanwhile,
