TURN YOUR PHONE SIDEWAYS WHEN SHOOTING VIDEO
It should come as no surprise that this looks particularly short-sighted to me. Though gas prices go up and down, consumers tend to buy based on prices a the pump as they are. No longer pressuring car companies to to have long-term goals in mind when consumers have shown time and time again to have little to no…
Cool! Chrysler can bring back the dual quad 426 Hemi! Now if only we can get rid of those pesky safety regs, air bags, what a waste!
As a reminder, in a Hyperloop you’re basically a bullet in a gun barrel. If there’s a crack in a 30-mile tube, you die. If its magnets lose power, you die. The margins of error and the risks are akin to space travel.
He’ll start coming up with his own rules...
eventually, he’ll just run out of physics to wreck. Then what?
Well, yeah, but those 25 miles go REALLY F*****G FAST
Is this news? I thought that was the guiding principle behind turbos anyway - better MPGs because it relies on you cruising at low RPMs. My old Audi A4 was fine at 2500 RPM but I knew that stepping on it was going to drive the MPG down quickly. Why? For a quick clean, they work well. It’s not a full wash/wax, but if it drizzles and the trees dump ick on your car, for $9, it works.
I’m glad your car seems to be doing well mechanically. I’m curious how it is cosmetically. What I mean is...every car develops rattles as it builds mileage. How bad is it in the Porsche?
Jason,
The tech was not ready 30 years ago. They are developing the tech as we speak. We could have probably flew someone to orbit Mars and return, but why would they send a person for a year up and a year back just to do it?
The problem that we still haven’t solved is landing 10+ tons of cargo including humans successfully…
