Black history IS American history. Academics not acknowledging that are negligent in their duty to learn and teach.

There is a stigma attached to Black History Month that I find annoying but I realize now that black history month is not even for black people anymore. Its a reminder to other people that there is another part of history they dont know shit about. And it deserves more than 8% of their attention.
