In MA I have seen unmarked police cars without the standard Blue plates that most marked vehicles have. I don’t know how the law is worded exactly but my understanding is the officer has no right to pull you over if their vehicle isn’t equipped with a Blue plate.
Our new GLA45 AMG has it. I have been leaving it on for now, but with the performance exhaust installed startups on this car are pretty loud, and its strange having it roar to life at every stop light.
